The latest Covid rules means that you can only drink with friends outside and a maximum of 6. Ale Hub Micro pub - Dickens Heath
The new micro pub opened in Dickens Heath on 24th September.
New Micro pub in Shirley
Application for a new micropub selling real ales at 277 Longmore Road, Shirley (formally a Newsagent) has been approved.
New Craft Ale pub In Solihull?
Planning application has been submitted for a new craft ale bar in Station Road Solihull (formally Hunters estate agent).

The Landlord (and staff) of the Red Lion in Claverdon have moved to the Bluebell in Henley in Arden.

The new micropub in Dickens Heath, Ale Hub Venue, is due to open the second week of September.

The Government has confirmed that pubs can reopen from 4th July provided they provide table service only indoors and collect contact details of customers (for contact tracing).

Silhill Brewery (based at Catherine-de-Barnes) has just lost all its outlets for barrel beer with the pubs all having closed. As a result, they have switched production to bottles and offer home delivery through this website: https://socialappsnow.com/so/silhillbrewery
It costs £21.95 for 12 bottles plus £3 for "local" delivery, which works at least for Solihull and Balsall Common.
It is a great opportunity to support a local business during these hard times!
