The Woodman's Rest is a comfortable and well run Ember inn which is very popular with locals. The pub can get very busy as it well supported by drinkers as well as diners. Four well-kept beers are served on hand pull at all times. The two guests are sourced from national brands and usually vary in style. Children are welcome when dining with adults. There is limited seating outside by the car park. Very popular on Mondays and Thursdays in particular and regularly shows live sport in the bar area.
