This is a true local with community Spanish classes. The site of an old coaching inn dated 1751, and once used as a Coroner's Court; it was rebuilt in 1965 and has a typical exterior, but the interior is traditional and comfortable. There is a lounge and a function room, which hosts frequent live music. 9.30 am breakfast and lunch 12-2 Mon-Sat. The guest beer changes several times a week. A public car park fronts the pub. Free wifi. Reopened under new management on 6th April 2019; it had been closed for three months after the previous manager's company had gone into liquidation.
