This popular local dates from the late 1930s / early 1940s and is a large, open-plan pub. There are up to four guest ales on offer, in addition to the regular beer. The usual Ember Inns food range is offered; the pub also opens at 10 am on Saturday and Sunday for brunch. Major sporting events available on terrestrial TV may be shown. Live music features monthly.
