Partly rebuilt and totally refurbished following a fire in 1998, the pub is part of a large complex featuring Premier Inn and restaurant. The bar features a large gas "log fire" and is divided into various seating areas. There is an abundance of bare brickwork and wooden beams which give the impression of a much older building. Breakfast is served from 6:30 am Monday to Friday, 7 am at weekends.
