Following a high-spec refurbishment, this multi-roomed pub reopened in September 2017 offering a welcome combination of 9 real ales, bottled craft beer, 5 real ciders, and hearty food. Dean Cartwright, from the Pig Iron Brewing Company of Brierley Hill, is brewing under the pseudonym of Britt Brewery in a satellite unit at the rear. Both Pig Iron and Britt Brewery cask ales are always available and accompanied by beers from Fixed Wheel, Wye Valley, Fownes, and others. The Britt Brewery ale is usually Brew Brittania but this might rotate to include, for example, Britt Pop. All hot meals are less than £7 and feature rather unusual pies and sausages as well as traditional faggots and burgers.

Swan Long Lane, Halesowen B62 9JY Owner Black Country Ales

The Swan is a CAMRA success story. Saved from the bulldozers by locals, Stourbridge and Halesowen CAMRA and Black Country Ales the Swan is now open. The serving area is a single bar. A staircase leads to the toilets and access to the garden and smoking area to the rear. Branch pub of the year in 2016. Eleven real ales and six real ciders are always available. Cobs and pork pies are always available.

Fixed Wheel Brewery Tap Unit 9, Long Lane Trading Estate, Long Lane, Blackheath, Halesowen B62 9LD Opening Times 4-10 Fri

A traditional tap room, situated within the brewery, right next to the brewery kit with a vibrant community atmosphere, where all people are friends of the brewery and if you are not a friend, you will soon be welcomed into the community. In addition of up to four cask beers there are usually six KeyCasks and four rotating guest ciders always on offer together with bottle conditioned beers brewed and bottled on site. Pub serves 4 changing beers and changing beers typically include Fixed Wheel from Fixed Wheel's core and special beers.

Shell-ter 1A Nimmings Road, Halesowen B62 9JJ Opening Times 12-11 Micro-pub near Shell Corner that opened in autumn 2017. Large room, big enough to hold 50 customers in single room. Cold snacks always available (cobs, samosa's, etc.). Comfortable interior decor; military-themed with a gas mask, German hand grenade, ammo box and replica plane in the roof space. Three real ales (always available, usually from local breweries, Enville Ale, Wye Valley HPA plus 1 changing beer and a box of real cider.
